The Certified Flight Instructor Instrument (CFII) training program will follow the same format as the Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) training program in terms of the lesson delivery. Furthermore, it will build upon the skills that you have previously attained.
The Federal Aviation Regulations require that those interested in obtaining pilot certificates, ratings or endorsements receive a certain amount of training, both in the air and on the ground. CFIIs are responsible for teaching pilots how to fly in instrument conditions, as well as assuring that instrument rated pilots maintain their proficiency.
Our CFII program teaches tutors the skills of being an Instrument Instructor, thus, requiring a separate instructor certificate.
We provide all of the required training for instrument rating candidates. Through this training you will learn how to teach students to be proficient in all aspects of helicopter flight. From being familiar with helicopter instrumentation to having a complete understanding of aerial procedures and flight maneuvers.
You will complete the proper lesson plans for instructor instrument training and review the ground work with your experienced Instrument Instructor before proceeding to the aircraft to teach the session.
