Aircraft Rental

Rental Pilot Qualifications & Requirements:

All requirements listed are required to be met in order to rent at Anthelion Helicopters.

The pilot must be familiar with FAA regulations and may be asked to demonstrate their knowledge of said regulations. Please see the specific pilot qualifications required for renting at Anthelion Helicopters below:

1. The pilot must hold a valid and current Private Pilot’s certificate or better with appropriate ratings and endorsements.
2. To carry passengers: the successful completion of the Robinson Safety Course is required.
3. The pilot must possess a current and effective medical certificate.
4. The pilot must satisfy the FAA’s flight review requirements.
5. The pilot must have a minimum of 50 hours in the make and model.
6. The pilot must have 100 hours total time for solo operations and at least 150 hours total time for carrying passengers.
7. The pilot must have a minimum of 2 hours of Pilot-in-Command time.

Initial Checkout and Currency Requirements

1. All renters must satisfactorily complete an initial check ride with an Anthelion Helicopter approved Check Pilot prior to rental.
2. To maintain currency, the Pilot must meet the following requirements and any other FAA requirements for currency as a pilot in command:

• • Three (3) takeoffs and landings in the previous ninety (90) days in an Anthelion Helicopters aircraft.
  • Receive one (1) hour of annual dual instruction or be signed off by an Anthelion Helicopter approved Certified Check Pilot.
