What To Expect
Begin your demo flight adventure with a 15-minute introduction to our cutting-edge flight simulator followed by 30 minutes of flight instruction in the Cabri helicopter, and 30 minutes of flight instruction in the Cessna with our dedicated flight instructors.

Itinerary
- Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your reservation start time for the check-in process.
- At check-in, please provide a government ID that matches the name of the reservation and sign our liability waiver.
- Begin your demo lesson with a short FAA SFAR Awareness Training from your instructor.
- Receive a 15 minute guided instructional session in our FAA-approved flight simulator.
- Proceed to the helicopter to receive a safety briefing and embark on your 30-minute flight lesson in the Cabri.
- Return to Long Beach and embark on a 30-minute flight lesson in the Cessna
- Return to Long Beach and receive your signed certificate. Flight time logged during your flight can be used towards a helicopter license!

THIS PRODUCT IS FOR US CITIZENS ONLY AS PER FAA REGULATIONS.NON US CITIZENS ARE NOT PERMITTED TO FLY DUAL DEMOS. YOU MAY CHOOSE TO FLY A DEMO WITH US FOR EITHER THE R22/R44/CABRI/CESSNA WHICH CAN BE FOUND ON ALTERNATE PAGES.
For U.S. Citizens:
- As per FAA regulations, students are limited to one demo flight without U.S. citizenship verification Any additional demo flights will require U.S. citizenship verification.
- If you have flown a demo flight with Anthelion Helicopters before, U.S. citizenship verification will be needed at the time of check-in. Please provide either a U.S. passport or birth certificate upon arrival for us to retain a copy for our records.
For Non-U.S. Citizens:
- As per FAA regulations, if you are not a U.S. citizen, you are permitted to just ONE demo flight without a TSA background check.
- If you are not a U.S. citizen and would like to pursue additional flight training beyond 1 demo flight, please get in touch with our training inquiry email at [email protected] for more information on how to enroll as a student and how to complete the necessary TSA background check.
Restrictions
Drug and Alcohol-Free Policy
- For the safety of all staff and guests, Anthelion Helicopters reserves the right to refuse service to passengers who show any signs or indications of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol. If there is any indication of this, your tour will be canceled and you will NOT be entitled to a refund.
Passenger Weight Limits
- Customers weighing 250 lbs. or more will not be permitted to fly as per the aircraft’s limitations. Please verify that your weight is within the limitations of the aircraft before booking.
- Customer weight verification may be needed upon arrival.
- There will be no refunds due to passengers exceeding the listed weight limit above. Reservations may be transferred to another individual within the weights limits.
Disclaimers
- Customers will not be held liable for cancelations or rescheduled flights due to adverse weather, Temporary Flight Restrictions (TFRs), or unforeseen aircraft maintenance.
- If a reschedule or cancellation due to the following reasons is necessary, your reservation will be rescheduled at no extra charge or fully refunded.

Where do we meet?
- All tours will depart and return to our helicopter pad located at the Long Beach Airport. To find our main office, our address is 3213 Airflite Way Long Beach, CA 90807. We are not located at the main airport terminal.
Is there a dress code?
- Please wear closed-toed shoes for your flight lesson.
Can I tip my pilot?
- Your reservation total does not include tips to your pilot. Tips are not expected but can be given to the pilot at your discretion.
Is it safe?
- Safety is our main priority and we have a 100% safety record.
- If it appears that there is adverse weather that will impact the safety of your tour, your flight will be rescheduled for an alternate day at no extra charge. Our pilots are constantly monitoring the weather and we will do our best to notify you of any changes with as much notice as possible.

Cancellation Policy
Requests made via phone or email before the reservation start time with:
- More than a 72-hour notice will be issued a 90% refund
- At least a 72-hour notice, but more than a 48-hour notice will be issued a 50% refund
- Less than a 48-hour notice are NOT eligible for any refund.
Rescheduling Policy
- Reservations are allowed a 1 time complimentary reschedule if the customer lets us know at least 24 hours in advance with a set date
- Requests that bring notice less than 24 hours in advance will incur a $100 rescheduling fee to re-book
- Further re-scheduled appointments will require an additional $100 rescheduling fee per reschedule
- If a customer calls to reschedule their tour, but does not have a set date, we are able to place the tour on hold for a period of 1 year from the date of the original reservation
- In this event, the complimentary reschedule is forfeited, and the customer must pay a $100 rescheduling fee once a set date is made
- the customer must re-book their tour within the year from the date of the original tour purchase.
- If the customer is rebooking 3+ months (90 days+) after their original reservation, the customer is required to pay the difference in activity price should our prices increase
- If the activity purchased is on a promotional sale, the rescheduled appointment must be made for a date and time within the promotional period for that activity
- Should the customer want to reschedule for a date outside the promotional period, the customer will be required to pay the difference towards the standard activity rate
- All rescheduling fees will be taken over the phone at the time of booking
- Any cancellation requests after a complimentary re-schedule will be issued a refund minus a 50%
Any no-call or no-show will result in a total tour price being charged.
Weather Limitations & Aircraft Maintenance Policy
- Our pilots are constantly monitoring the weather. If it appears that the weather may impact your ability to fly, we will give you a call on the day of the tour to discuss rescheduling or possible route changes. We will do our best to update you on any changes.
- Tour routes may vary due to weather and FAA restrictions. In the case that a tour route needs to be altered due to adverse weather or FAA restrictions, customers will be informed with as much notice as possible as well as given the option for a complimentary reschedule.
- Customers will not be held liable for circumstances that may affect their flight, such as adverse weather, TFRs, or unforeseen aircraft maintenance. Flights will be rebooked or refunded at no additional charge.
Flight Etiquette
- We ask all customers to please understand that though your flight is meant to be fun and exciting, safety is always Anthelion Helicopters’ first priority
- For this reason, we do not allow:
- Drunk and/or High Customers
- Screaming, yelling, and/or arguing in the helicopter
- Removing seatbelts, or attempting to stand, or sticking hands and feet out of the helicopter during the tour
- Speaking over the Pilot
- Should the customers arrive inebriated, they will NOT be allowed to fly. We will NOT provide a refund should you choose to cancel, but you may pay $100 to rebook your tour to another date
- Please know that should the pilot feel that the flight has become unsafe due to customer conditions, the pilot has the right to end the tour early. In this event, we will not be able to provide any refunds or accommodations for the shortened flight.
Weight Limitation Policy
- Customers who are over the weight limit upon a weight verification on arrival will NOT be allowed to fly and will NOT be eligible for a refund.
- Please verify that each passenger’s weight is within the aircraft’s limitations BEFORE booking.
- Accurate weights must be listed at the time of booking.
- Weight verification will be required upon arrival.
- There will be no refunds for scheduled flight cancellations due to passengers’ weight exceeding the aircraft’s maximum allowable limit. This applies to individual and combined group weights.
- Please verify that each passenger’s weight is within the aircraft’s limitations BEFORE booking.
- R44 Demo/Tour/Aerial Photography Passengers:** Individuals weighing 300 lbs/136 kg or more will not be permitted to fly as per the aircraft’s limitations. Also, groups of up to 3 passengers whose combined weight is 580 lbs/263 kg or more will not be permitted to fly.
